Solana was inspired by founder Yasmine Idriss’s love of travel her and passion for not only ethically produced, vegan footwear but for raising the stories of people and craftsmen around the world. She started Solana to produce fashionable shoes via transparently ethical practices as well as share cultures and stories from around the globe through new perspectives.
Yasmine enlisted Scaling Retail to help make her vision a reality. The team strategized with Yasmine and created a unique brand voice that centered human narratives and global connection at the heart of the brand journey, also crafting a logo, assets and a website to follow suit. When the COVID pandemic hit and halted production and supply chains, Scaling Retail strategized a slightly pivoted plan to even further elevate stories while developing a production strategy for a seamless launch.
